I will be playing at the All Star Grateful Dead night at the Brauerhaus in Lombard, IL this Thursday night, May 17th. Doors are at 7 and show is at 8:30 and will go until 1:30 AM.
Joining me will be my fellow Rhythm Schmuck, Sikiru Adepoju.
Every 3rd Thursday at Brauerhouse current/former members of Dark Star Orchestra, Mr. Blotto, Paradise Waits, and Uncle John’s Band revisit the music of The Grateful Dead exclusively. Big 7-piece band with double drums, 3 guitars, bass and keys. 4-part vocal harmonies and the deepest songs in the GD catalog.
Thurs May 17 we welcome special guests David B. Allen (frm. Mr. Blotto), Richie Shakin' Nagan (frm. George Clinton & Parliament - Funkadelic), and Sikiru of the Mickey Hart Band . We'll be doubling up the keys in the classic Vince/Bruce configuration and digging deep for some songs from that period. 10-piece band!
$10 advance tickets through 5/16 at midnight
