Chuck Mosley passed away last week from what sounds like some sort of substance abuse situation.  RIP Chuck.

Big fan of those early Faith No More albums back in the day.

They were ahead of their time, for sure.

Absolutely.  Funk/metal/hiphop pioneers.  Mike Patton is great and I love those albums too.  This is more punk though.

Whenever I listen to Introduce Yourself I feel like I'm transplanted to 1987 Los Angeles.  Chuck's little ditties where he's just having dialogue in songs.

" $0.95 !?!?! Fuck you- I'll skate to the beach!

..and I'll look better getting there!"

Definitely more punk. I love Mike Patton, but Chuck Mosley had a whole different vibe that really defined their early sound.

Always sad to see somebody who never really got the redemption part of the story; although I believe he did some shows with Faith No More not too long ago, which is cool.
