Ha! Been a Civ Freek and Geek since the original one came out decades ago. It's my only real computer game guilty pleasure and I am in the middle of my best Civ V game ever.
My son got Civ VI a few weeks ago. He says its much more complex and took forever to get through a game.
At first, I wasn't thrilled about Civ V because of the lack of stacking of units. But after a few games, you can get used to it and adjust accordingly, and the trade and great people features are better than the previous installments.
My son is bringing Civ VI when he comes up from college for X-Mas and hope to try out a hot seat game with him.
