The real irony here is that a Cummins diesel with an aux tank can get way WAY over 1,000 mile range in one shot

Also very simple to fix right in the driveway and will realistically go a million miles or more, comfortably, reliably, in its lifespan

the one in the photo is at least 20 years old obviously still going strong as fuck

it's an asset that pays for itself every day and depreciation vs other vehicles is among the lowest overall

 

a tesla truck can't carry any payload, goes to the office really fast, has awful range (unless you only drive on urban freeways), very frustrating to repair, has horrid resale value, mostly is a product of planned obsolescence.

It's a disposable car.

Oh, and they've all been recalled for literally falling apart.
