Cocaine Bear - we all know one

Or are one laugh

Most anticipated movie since Snake on a Plane

In (empty) theaters only

Bath Salts Bear immediately killed and devoured the entire original production team, cast members and security staff...

hence the new crew with the more lovable and relatable, Cocaine Bear.

based on the title i know a pair of them

Not your average bear, Booboo.

Probably better than the dreck that's put out these days

I'm sorta interested about this because it's directed by Elizabeth Banks. Seems like it could be kind of wacky, plus it has Ray Liotta's last big screen performance.

Boofy The Bear?

Big injustice if Michael Irvin doesn't get a shout out.

I don't know; the trailer looks pretty silly. Also, they recreate the scene from The Great Outdoors where John Candy gets flattened by the front door with a bear on top of it.

Psychedelic Mushroom Bear would be more my speed

In the Disney version he would need a sidekick, say, Jiminy Tweeker.

Boofy The Bear?

^^hah!

This thread should get a kick out of this tale. One of my favorite bands, Yarn http://yarnmusic.net wrote a song 'Cocaine Bear' a few years ago. When they head about this movie's pending development a few years back, they approached the Producers to submit their song written about "Pablo EscoBear". It wasn't used in the film, but the band wisely decided to hitch their wagon to the film anyway. wink Their song, 'Cocaine Bear', which Predated the film by a good coupla years is coming out on 2/24/23.

I get a kick out of this. But I'm biased. I've been a fan and a friend to these guys for over a dozen years. Great songwriting, incredible musical chops and energy, and no shortage of Whiskey shots when you run into them at the bar afterwards...

Has anyone partaken in this movie yet?

I thought this was a Stephen Stills thread

True Story...."Pablo EscoBear" ate coke dropped from a runner's plane over Tennessee, the pilot ejected & died when his chute failed.  The real coke bear got into a couple packages & the cause of death was labeled as coke intoxication.  The animal was stuffed & is on display in Kentucky.

A buddy of mine was heading off to watch it last night.  He says there is an A-list of Hollywood celebrities who make cameo appearances in it.  He was planning on smoking a fat doobie and had no expectations besides a few laughs.  Asked him to report back.

A bunch of us are going to see it at the Darkside in Corvallis, next Tuesday, 5:15pm showing...  meeting up at Squirrels 4 - 5ish, then walking over.  Should be horrible!

Florida Man: "Hold my Bear."

Funniest flick I've seen in a long time, lots of gore, so not for everyone...   went with a group of 10, so much better to share the fun

Colombia tries a new solution for Pablo Escobar’s ‘cocaine hippos’.

The drug lord Pablo Escobar won worldwide notoriety for the cocaine he smuggled out of Colombia. Less familiar is what he smuggled in. In the 30 years since, the original hippos — three females and a male — have multiplied to more than 130. Hippos aren’t native to South America. Without natural predators, the aggressive, territorial animals have settled into the Magdalena River in central Colombia.

My friends in Yarn wrote the song 'Cocaine Bear' a few years before the movie came out...
