if there's a better rendition, please share it, thanks

The band really likes my full concert Remaster take on that & entered each song here into the GD cannon 2 weeks ago.

In the ones from 1985 (that I did get a chance to see).

As Jerry is about to cry into the first verses of each stanza, his fingers do quick triplets, like when someone is all choked up and about to cry, but still finds one full breath to say, what they need to say, before they explode into complete tears

Jerry Garcia is not only one of the top 3 guitarists of all-time, he is only artist of any format to usher in these type tears both dripping and pouring.

Jerry is like shooting stars flying through a meteor shower. The concurrent-ness of both, is beyond Godly.

I believe in God; but I think there are matters that even God can not fathom. Jerry Garcia +

Typo "that I did NOT get a chance to see"

I didn't see one GD show in the summer show in '85.

Maryland was as close as they came to NY that summer & Spring '85 pales in comparison.

hUH?

Besides Hershey, PA.

I think SPAC and MPP is pretty much a push from NYC

When I lived in NYC we considered SPAC to be a hometown show.

It's no farther than Hershey and as a bonus, it's nothing to do with Pennsylvania. Just straight up the thruway, a nice uncrowded road.

SPAC to Hershey was a long drive for sure.

This one ain't bad.

I love the one that comes out of Dark Star at the Roosevelt Stadium '72 show. It goes from a SBD to an AUD but the power of the version is all there. '72 Comes A Time is short but they are all great

Buffalo '77 definitely a favorite, as is the Orpheum 76. Lakeland '77 has a great one, as does Boston Music Hall '76 (Wharf Rat > CAT)

Sandstone '91 has a wonderful version out of space (wonderful for latter day Dead)
