Comet Lemmon (C/2025 A6)

Forums:

We've got a new comet to view in the morning skies right now (evening skies too, especially at the end of the month).  It's "almost" visible to the naked eye, and is expected to brighten as the month goes along!!!

Here's a few sky maps;

Too many trees around my place- can't see shit at night.

Comet o Papa

Our cat is named Comet. He has a pretty elongated orbit from time to time - likes to visit all the neighbors and the neighbor cats.

it's now an after sunset sightable, and barely visible to the naked eye too!  (less city lights really helpful)

Very cool.  I need to lug my telescope over to my girlfriends house on the hill.  Too many trees here as well.
