Commercials on TV apologizing for fucking over their customers

Fakebook & Wells Fucko

Sorry we fucked you over but were looking forward to doing it again soon if given the chance. Remember when companies cared about it's customers, venders, employees and R&D.

^^^^They only start fires. Then blame them on stoner teens and homeless people only to find out their power lines hit trees during "high wind event"

Don't forget the San Bruno explosion that killed 8, destroyed 35 houses and damaged many more.

No problem PG&E!

We use PG&E. We don't use Wells Fargo. We do use Facebook. We haven't been to Chili's in awhile. I don't know what Equifax is.

Did Volkswagen have one yet? This a great thread, btw. That Facebook ad is priceless and it

def worked on a lot of stupid people. Great stuff.

Not to forgive WF for their fuckery but, writing as someone who appreciates a good ad campaign, the ad agency deserves kudos for that tag line. Let's hope all the above companies walk the walk in the future and earn back some credibility.

One great feature of the WF ad campaign is promising to do things that really don’t mean anything. Such as....

- Building a better bank

- increasing community impact (that could actually be a BAD thing, considering their history)

- Putting service first

All of these things are pretty ambiguous boasts that can’t be measured either. They really hit it out of the park
