 I don't feel marginalized.  In order for that to happen I would have to expect a sizable amount of people here to agree with my politics. I don't expect that, and I have no problem with it.  I long ago came to peace with who I am and how I fit in around here.  It's not a problem to me at all.

I objected to being call a racist and a misogynist.   As I expect anyone here would.  Furthermore, the accusation was made on no evidence other than my political views.  It would be nice if the left realized that just because a person has a difference of opinion on certain social matters it doesn't mean that said person embodies the worst traits imaginable to their opponents.  But this seems to be the modus operandi  of more than a few people around here.

People on the right think that people on the left are wrong.  People on the left think that people on the right are evil, and that this gives them the right to treat them with utter disdain.  I think that accusations such as the ones made at me by Pyramid prove this point.

Pyramid,since you refuse to let this go I'm going to have to ask you just how I am doing the things you are accusing me of.  You have no idea who I voted for, or even if I did vote.  My "support" for Trump has been a few comments defending him when I think he has been unfairly attacked, stating that I'm glad that he beat Hillary, and that I'm willing to give him a chance and see how things develop.  Remember when my side was supposed to do that for Obama? 

If you feel comfortable throwing the kind of invective towards me that you are based on a complete ignorance of my positions, combined with the sanctimonious self-righteousness that is the hallmark of your type then I might suggest that it is you that has a problem, not me.  I learned long ago that one can only do so much to control how others perceive them and I don't lose sleep over people, such as yourself, that don't have a clue as to who I am and what my opinions are.  You really need to take a look at how you treat people that you only know by interacting with them via brief postings on an internet chat board.  You are the prefect example of why I don't bother getting into discussions on serious issues on the internet or usually even responding to the nonsense that gets thrown my way.
