...or you saw happen.
Once we were visiting a friend's Farm in Kansas when my daughter was probably about 2 years old.
Across the street there was a farm with about two hundred head of cattle. Cassidy, being a curious 2 year old, wanted to go see the cows.
We went across the street one day to see them, but the vast majority of the herd was on the other side of the field from where we were, and we couldn't get to them. I went across the street and got my guitar and came back and started playing it to see if that wouldn't bring the cows over to us. To my surprise and joy, as I started playing my guiitar the entire herd slowly started moving back towards us until the entire herd was crowded around the fence where we were listening to my guitar. It was quite amazing. There was no mooing or any general bovine shenanigans.. They just stood there listening for about 15 min or so. Cassidy had an amazing time looking at these enormous animals right in front of her, and I was mesmerized by those large, peaceful eyes staring at me as I played.
I will never forget starting to play my guitar, and that enormous herd of cattle coming across the field to listen.

A local jazz duo husband/wife guitar/vocal team were in Philly doing a gig at a nice hotel (can't remember which one) just before the election and Stevie Wonder was staying there to do a gig for Hillary. On the way back to his room after his gig Stevie hears them and pops in then asks his assistant to go to his room to get his harpejji and jams with the guitar player for half an hour and gives him his contact info. He posted video to his FB page but I doubt I can figure out how to post it here.

I somehow talked Shawn into giving me lessons...I'm a self taught player with minimal knowledge/talent but I'm working hard since I've got this opportunity.

Saw Kris Kristofferson at the Country Club in Reseda, Ca. I think in 82 and Muhammad Ali was sitting 2 tables in front of me.
Me some of the Allman brothers back in 81. Was on their tour bus and some were drinking with us at their hotel bar. Next night met the Kinks in the same bar. They were assholes. The Allmans were totally cool and friendly. The night the Kinks were in the bar Greg Allman comes walking into the hotel totally stoned with some chick on his arm. Went to the same bar later in the year to go and meet the Dead but the bar was closed as it was a Sunday, plus the band was playing a concert in Scotland in 3 days so they were probably on there way there anyways.

I went to over 100 GD/JGB shows. That was fucking cool. Plus the treats I scored there helped pay my way through college. They also made me popular with the ladies.

Also sat next to Teri Hatcher
Also sat next to Teri Hatcher the actress on a United flight from Newark to LAX Dec. 24th 1999. I was on my way to Guatemala for the millenium and my sister worked for United so I had free passes and was upgraded to Business class. Didn't really say much to her. I did offer her my window seat so she could put her head against the window to sleep easier but she declined and said that is so sweet. On the way back from Guatemala at LAX after exiting customs saw Steve Winwood waiting outside of customs with I suppose his wife and some guy I guess was his son met them. Was a limo outside waiting that I imagined was his.

In about 1993, at BB Kings bar in Memphis, I saw Keifer Sutherland get up on stage with the house band and do Knockin on Heavens Door. He was so hammered, his head kept knockin on the microphone. Seriously, he could barely stand up.
