Happier times,  Don't know if this video is already in circulation, but it:s a nice snapshot.

They still looked somewhat young

I was watching a Phil sit in with RRE the other night and was amazed at how young he seemed. I loved him with Tim Carbone....Time flies

Thanks Dave!

Sweet. Now where's the in-house video of the February 2001 Maritime run?

We just finished watching it as well, feeling a lot closer to those guys than I was before, good to know the zoom on the camera works so well. It was a lot more comfortable to be home instead of that hot little stinky room...sure do miss Phil...

Dang... tears of joy smiley

thanks for posting!

Very nice!  Thanks.

I never made it to the original Sweetwater, looks cramped but that show would have been a thing to see.

At the time I didn't even know it was happening, I hadn't discovered the Philzone yet so I was woefully uninformed.

Interesting to watch what was a very early (the first?) stealth show in a tiny venue, who knew what was yet to come, thanks for posting.

Where was the original Sweetwater located?

The opposite end of Throckmorton Avenue from where it is now, close to if not next to that fancy little hotel that's almost directly across the street from the Throckmorton Theater.

I believe the space is a parking lot now, or maybe not, but the original building is gone.

I like the new Sweetwater, but it's usually a total talk-fest venue. Bobby famously immortalized that when he told that douchebag to SHUT THE FUCK UP!

How can you not love Bob Weir?
