Some of my favorite moments in time at GD related events have been the coincidences, the reunions with lost friends, the strangers stopping strangers just to shake their hands.
My show family and I would see such examples if random intersteller magic and call out" "Cosmic Burp". It happened a lot with heightened awareness on show days.
My grown son got a last minute miracle 7th row ticket and a ride w/friends from Portland to Cuthbert last night.
Lot neighbors are always fun. As he spoke to the crew from the car parked next to him, it was discovered that one of the gents had lived at #47, across from our #46 while a student at SUNY New Paltz.

Glad to know that your family also noticed the cosmic connections that happened at shows.
On the flipside, walked out of a Radio City NYC Further show with my old Sebasitipole friend Crystal Awareness. A young head asked me " Is that Crystal?" (he had moved across the street,) ....and immediately hurried away when I said "Yes" Cosmic fart?

I remember camping in the parking lot in Oakland for several days for NYE shows, was fun to wander the parking lots, run into old friends, ask "what are you doing in the middle of my acid trip", lol.
For cosmicity, I love the story of my friends Pete / Maria, think it might have been a Red Rocks show; they were in line waiting to get in, the the folks ahead of them in line were talking about hitch hiking thru Corvallis, OR, hearing a band, sneaking through a hedge to a back yard party with lots of home made wine, brews, great food, and a band playing originals, dead, talking heads, X, etc... So Pete interrupted for a little specificity, turns out the party was his and Maria's stag / stagette party before their wedding south of Corvallis. Small world

GDTS put me at the soundboard at an early P&F show. Had no idea that i was passing my J's to Graham Lesh. His crew seemed to be "ohhhh F ck" but they just let the river flow....
Some other Head told me later in the show.
