A very recent upload of this kickass show of two legends. Anybody know if Tony Rice will play live anytime soon?

Thanks for the link - very nice.

You're welcome. :) It's my first time hearing it- truly fantastic.

Tony Rice had an unexpectedly beautiful smile - it just kind of crept up.

I never got to see Tony Rice live. He is such a master on that guitar.

In an article from 2015, link below, they talked about what's been going on. I didn't know if he's still alive, yes, according to wikipedia.

They also came to see Tony Rice.

The audience knew that the renowned flatpick guitarist would not perform.

A disorder called muscle tension dysphonia has turned his baritone voice hoarse.

Lateral epicondylitis, also known as tennis elbow, and arthritis make playing guitar painful. Rice last played his famous Martin D-28 herringbone guitar publicly at his induction into the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame in 2013.
