Forums:

I don't know if this has already been covered, but I just saw the listing and thought it might be new.

For those who care...

it's an ez flight for me but have plans.

I approve of this thread.

This will be my first time at the Chapel. Are there good restaurants near by?    Where do you park?

i went last time they played which was outdoors. there were not many there and like no zoners.

there was a good mexican place next door. can't help with parking.

Lots of places to eat there in the Mission. Just about anything you want.

There's a parking lot on 21st just off Valencia, a couple of blocks from the venue. There may be one closer I'm not aware of, otherwise it's street parking, good luck with that.

The venue is very cool, an old wooden building with a high, steepled ceiling that's excellent for the light show. Not much seating but very good sound.

No comments on restaurants other than yes, there are too many to count, including one attached to the venue.

Thanks folks. Tom, I saw that garage on the map and will shoot for that. Looking for street parking on the way there.

What about Bart? Where is the closest station? Parking in Richmond would work cause I need to drive out that way towards Placerville.

How is the food at the venue?

Who else from here is going?

people are scared to go to san francisco.

Nah, I just lazy.

i got to really want to make that drive these days and I already mentioned in that other thread how my traveling initiative for DNB has been lacking.
I should probably at least stop missing their Humboldt performances, but if i didn't go to either David Byrne or BJM in sf a couple weeks ago, ain't no way I'm going tomorrow especially after tonight.

I've heard good things about the chapel though and need to check it out sometime.

i hope u enjoy the crap out of it, mark

I wish that were true Turtle, it would be easier to get around.

I think the closest BART station is 16th & Mission, a few blocks from the venue. I haven't been in that neighborhood in a few years, but I used to go to a little jazz venue just down the street from that station fairly often.

Being nice, I'll say it was "lively" around that station. I never had any issues but I always walked quickly. Just like Alice's Restaurant, you could get ANYthing you wanted along that stretch of 16th.

I may find the energy to get up there, I haven't seen the band in a long time, but it will be a game-time decision.

I'm sure it will be a good time, whoop it up folks!

I'd be there but t-daughter is coming though town.

zoners are scared go go south of petaluma.

U smack talkin, son of a turtle

>>> zoners are scared go go south of petaluma.

I'm sitting in Berkeley at this moment, I've made it south of Petaluma

I will buy you a ticket if you want to go tomorrow night, Judit.
