Is d/s played every show now?

drums/space?  yes.

I believe D/S has been played at all of the DeadCo shows since they started 8 years ago.  There may have been a one off here or there;  but yeah;  the whole time.

It's a major highlight of the shows imho

It's when Mickey's alarm clock goes off.

I went and took my daughter (24yo) to her first "Dead" show.... we had a fun time. Nothing earth shattering but the first set was solid, second set kind of fizzled out for me when they went into Althea, and we left early to avoid the traffic getting out (traffic was a joke getting there, it took us 3 hours for what is usually a 1 hr drive). Very reminiscent of the traffic debacle in 1992, there were alot of people that left their cars on the side of the highway and hiked 2 miles to the venue. I haven't been to a Dead related show since 2014 Ratdog at the Ryman. A fun night for me to to say farewell, who knows if I'll see any of these guys again. It was Mickey, Jay and Oteil for the drum segment and it was very energetic and fun... Jay has this Saturn looking drum device behind him and they were all playing on it at one point:

Dead & Company in Burgettstown.

I'm only here for the primanti sandwiches

BURGETTSTOWN, Pa. (KDKA) -- A concert at Star Lake is being called a disaster after people waited hours in traffic before giving up and going home.

It was supposed to be a fun-filled time inside Star Lake to see Dead & Company, but for many people, they didn't even get in the gate because Route 22 and Route 18 were so backed up some people sat in more than five hours of traffic.

I went to Star Lake! Traffic was a clusterfuck, we moved a heavy picnic table to make a parking spot. I thought drums/space was great, got a little Pink Floydy, and a treat to have Oteil sing in 2 songs. Jam in Jack Straw was beautiful, and Jeff is just so good, they played well together. I'm missing Riverbend, going to Billy Strings in Cleveland, on the river! Any Zoners going?
