Lovely, although I tried dancing to Shakedown and it was like trying to ride a bicycle when it's going too slow,,, I kept falling down.

Lotta Jerry up in that set list. Gotta love it.

Not

Cumberland out of Space has to be a new one. Looking forward to hearing that develop and Chimenti's typical badass solo on it.

I'm liking how they're switching up the setlists a bit. Anything other than Franklin's out of Slipknot is a surprise. We've all heard these songs a million times so different segues at least brings something "new" to the table.

Just listened to the above Cumberland. I lasted 1:47. Sounded like a bad GD day in 94. The singing was awful (and I'm a Grateful Dead fan smiley). The playing was competent at best. Tempo is the least of that band's problems.

My "no D+C" stance is sounding better every minute.

I'm glad some folks are having fun with it.

Take what you need and leave the rest

just awful imho

Tuned in for a second last nite and it was ripping. I'd love to see this band and have a good time. If I went just by the comments of this board, I'd be convinced to not try and go hear live music and have a good time.

Do you guys really enjoy the smell of your own farts that much? It never gets old? Really?? C'mon!

Am I supposed to apologize for not liking DeadCo or for posting my opinion?

" I lasted 1:47 "   (yeah, now there's an opinion i'm going to value, so well researched, LMAO!!! )

"Just awful imho" (nothing new from mr negative)

The piano needed to be turned up in that video, as it was a ripping solo, then 4's w/ Mayer....  loved it, didn't like the mix on the audience video

But to each their own, not sure why you'all post in these threads though...  everyone on this boards dislike for this band (without even listening to an entire show a lot of the time) is very well documented, still feel that these show posts are total waste of my time, perhaps I should just post this for every show...

https://www.setlist.fm/setlists/dead-and-company-2bc42076.html

anyway, carry on, carry a tune, and hopefully you'all can find music you actually like.... in the meantime, I look forward to the continued negativity from group members, it's really what the world needs right now!  (And i'll continue to enjoy the growth of Dead $ Co, as this tour has had some of the best playing / interactions this band has ever enjoyed)

At least Surf listened to 1:47. That's a whole lot better than the people who don't listen to any and still complain. Plus, he's not putting anyone down for liking it.

Last night was the only one I didn't catch any of, so far. I heard it was pretty hot.

Surfs a great guy, (we've met in the real world), but snark begets snark, LOL

This was my fave show so far, well, the parts I liked I really liked...  a little homage to Herbie Hancock and the Headhunters in places, but like I said above, loved the jams in Bird Song, Slipknot, and the piano solo in Cumberland, but again, to each their own...

I attended last night's show and thought it was fantastic! Had a great time! The second set sizzled. Great Scarlet solo, the Help>Slip was sublime and that Fire rocked. Love John's new Rog, from Silver Sky through the effects loop - his sound is happening!
