Looks like the el-cheapo price is over; it is back to 54 dollars now. There was a little 'countdown clock' on the page yesterday when I went to purchase. So a month from now, the discs ought to be in my mailbox.

When those Houseboat Tapes were discovered I was working alongside Brian Godchaux (Keith's Bother) at the 5th String Music Store in Berkeley where he was teaching fiddle and I was teaching mandolin and working as a sales guy, inventory controller.
Brian was pretty clueless about the GD and his brother but he was a hell of a fiddler.
He played with Dan Hicks in the Acoustic Warriors and has been fiddling in the Bay Area for decades.
