The legendary Nashville
The legendary Nashville guitar man Shot Jackson custom built those pistol shaped guitars for Coe's act.
Shot played with Kitty Wells, Roy Acuff, and Melba Montgomery.
He (along with Buddy Emmons) started the first pedal steel guitar manufacturing company; Sho-Bud. Short for Shot and Buddy)
Warren said he thought there were five of those guitars in total (I think additionally a 12 string and a mandolin?)
Nobody in the guitar world seems to have heard or seen of any of those axes since those days.
