TXR site still shows events into Nov.

TXR site still shows events into Nov.

The October shows are in the Grate Room.

The November shows are cancelled.

The beach park lease was extended until November so it's likely the Grate Room shows will be moved outdoors to Beach Park. After that.......well, that's all folks!

Good info Woz! Had not heard that.

I'm hoping that extension allows for a run of Phil shows in Beach park before he heads back east for the Cap! Plus I want to see Peter Rowan and as much as I'd like to go into the Grate Room one last time it sketches me out. At this point my last show in the Grate Room was Phil with Stu playing Alligator on March 17. 2020......not a bad way to go out! A nice three day Phil Run in early October would be a tremendous way to close out the TXR era!

The Wailers show on October 2 has been officially moved to Beach Park.

Sweet!

If TxR does indeed close it's doors for good, I can't believe that Phil & Jill won't hold a farewell of some sort.

It's been too big a piece of their history (and some of ours) these past ten years to just quietly turn off the lights.

And I agree about the Grate Room. As well as they developed that entire property and all the good & varied times that have happened all over that place, it has always been all about the Grate Room for me.

I will miss that place.

Do not go gentle into that good night.

But honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if that's exactly what happens...

Ok maybe I should go

^^^ good call, T
