heart

only 4 days away until showtime!I

hope to see a bunch of familiar freaks there

Oh yeah

and jorma too

Jorma was awful at NYE at Freight and Salvage.  Hopefully he has it together for the Sweetwater show

Jorma solo (or Jorma and Barry) always 100%. Tuna shows seem to be “iffy” over the last few years. Let’s burn one rob

sitting this one out.

pretty much done with txr.

Bummer Turts.

Yeah, bummer T will miss ya!

I am going to need a DNB dance workout stat!

I’m not going to make it this weekend.

I have one DNB ticket for sale for face, no fees.

I also have one ticket for the sold out Jorma show at the Sweetwater on Saturday for face + fees.

can wez get the radio dnb's?

not good timing... it's a work night and I'm already taking next Friday off for the Saucerfuls shoe.

"pretty much done with txr."

That's what I thought. I'll be there.

Be nice to see you on the party side of the fence

Peaks's party is on every side of the fence.

Jorma was fantastic last night and I’m looking forward to seeing David on Sunday!

Fun show, great crowd and a good time!

good setlist, but it usually is.

how's david doin'?

It's always a joy to see this band smoking on stage.  You can really get a good groove going, with a band that has such a long familiarity between them.

LOVE the DNB crew and the community/family vibe in the room too.  Great to see y'all !!  Now if we had a couple more shows on deck....

kickass show last night !!

the boys burst right out of the gate with a rippin' Earl's Girls, then slid into the rarely played Sliding Delta

big night for Mookie, who excelled on 3 of his signature songs (Give Me Love, Hard Rain, Twilight) and he played a lot of B3 organ all night along with his usual electric piano setup

other highlights were the completely fresh take on John Hardy's Wedding, the rare gem Pretty Little Miss, and a rave-up Wicked Messenger to end the first set

it's always a good sign when we hear Four:Fifty One, and we got an especially good version to open the second set

also memorable were Pete's heartfelt vocals on Lazy River Road, which was followed by perhaps the biggest surprise of the night -- a very strong Rakish Paddy which was last played on 11/11/15 according to setlist.com

next, Barry strapped on a guitar I had never seen -- a vintage 7-string Danelectro Longhorn guitar -- and which sounded a bit like a sitar, on a mesmerizing Just a Season

the second set ended with an uninterrupted run of Different World > Cut & Run > Rocky Road that ended the set at a feverish pace

David's stamina was not an issue on this night, as the band finished with a double encore as a fine capper to the show

smiles and hugs all around... such a treat to once again be immersed among the tribe for an evening of High Adventure

hopefully we can do it again, soon
