Do you eat it raw?

Forums:

Yes, I'm talking about cookie dough.

Out of the 2lbs I had of it last night I ate about 4 heaping tablespoons worth.

Then thought, I can't be the only one.

Tonight, I'm at the store buying another pound of dough along with some butter and the girl at the register says to me on the way out

"enjoy the raw cookie dough"! I stop dead in my tracks and say, yeah I ate about a quarter of my container last night and she agreed she does the same. Mind you this fine lady had a frame of about 120 lbs for a lady about 5'11''

Skip the cookie dough and find the Mistletoe.

What is phrases heard in a 1970s gay bath house, Alex.<< I was talking about cookie dough, not your childhood.

We are not here to choke on an unwashed cock for you, Baller.

But by all means continue to fantasize about me being molested as a child. That is part of your MO.

Not too cool when the shoe is in the other foot, eh creeper?

Are you two the same person?

    I'm happy you think so.

Raw dough is not really good for humans to eat.

Sitting near a tree at a wedding can be deadly.

Serious question Surfdead.  Why is it bad to eat raw cookie dough?

    Serious question

    > Raw dough is not really good for humans to eat.

There's a lot of good non-humans up in this thread...

Well it's funny because the girl at the register last night said to me I've been eating cookie dough my whole life and I don't have a ringworm problem yet !

How do we really know that?

Slack, standing near a tree in the 541 lately has been just the same.

    Cookie dough > yuK

    Sushi > Fuk ya!

People used to think raw cookie dough was risky for people because it included raw eggs and could spread salmonella. Opinions change, and also, the type of raw cookie dough that we can get in the store doesn't include raw or unpasteurized eggs in most cases.

If I were making "enhanced" cookies, I'd make dough from scratch, to work the butter into the mix, rather than buying premixed dough.

But, from pics in another thread, it looks like OG's method is a green butter floater as it bakes? Interesting technique.

    Cake mix.

I used to like to eat the leftover mix from the mixing bowl when I was a kid.

Gravy, it's actually Moses' technique for the pre mixed cookie dough.

I prefer to pick up some organic brownie mix and 6 tsp of butter and some of those non marsh mellow- marsh mellows and call it good.

Though momo's technique works good for the mix that already has butter, when your making "those" kinda Christmas cookies.

Raw cheesecake before its cooked, tastes like raw cheesecake....tastes better when baked
