Dogs in a Pile & Cris Jacobs + doin Dead

Forums:

Temporary Grateful Dead cover band East Coast style:

Ramble Fest - Maryland small 3 day non-corporate festival. I wasn't able to attend this year but friends enjoyed it.

Dogs in a Pile with Cris Jacobs & a Pigeons Ping Pong guy plus a gal playing sax (Eyes) and a female vocalist (encore). They do jam out quite a bit. Note the Rosebud-copy guitar later in the show. Sounds good.

That guitar belongs to the Dog guy even though Cris is playing it in the photo above. Cris, if you aren't aware, is a very talented Baltimore-based blues-ish singer/ songwriter /guitarist who used to have an Americana band called the Bridge who were popular in the Md Atlantic and Oregon. He is steeped in Dead music and has a range that includes Country, Rock, Folk, Funk as well as Blues. A local favorite who has a national-level resume. I think his new single features Lindsay Lou.
