Back when I was in the transplant community I used to give speeches, Grand Rounds etc., in hospitals all over Northern California. One day a young male nurse held up his hand & asked me if I thought it was OK to give a life saving organ to someone who was a bum or a bad person, or who never did anything good for anyone. I answered that fortunately I did not have to answer that question because if God lets him live so will I.
