Dwezel Zappa

Forums:

Playing in Ft. Lauderdale tonight.

I'll play whatever I fucking want tour.....celebrating 50 years.

Wife got me tickets over the holidays. A spanish seafood restaurant right down the street and a night of Zappa music.

Here is the setlist from last night.

Oh Wow. Have fun tonight, T. The kid can play.

My buddy drove up to atlanta a couple months ago to see this tour, he loved it and now is heading back for more in orlando. I would be there myself but I decided to see the JRad and ttb instead.

Dweezil plays in Columbus, OH on January 22nd. The setlist you posted is pretty close to the show I saw in Kent, OH in November.

I will GTTS anyway. Dweezil brings it every time and always has superb musicians accompanying him every tour.

Have a great time!

Sunshine Fest in Boca on Sunday

Looking forward to JRad too.

Enjoy Tim!

Tim has all the fun!

May 2?

haven't seen a good show at the 'ol Cat in forever... it was our local hangout for many many years until new owners came along and pretty much changed it up completely.

Enjoy the Napa show!

Only time I've seen him was 12/23/84 when he joined his dad onstage for a few songs.

He was in Total Recall with Arnold.

I caught him last fall at The Egg in Albany.  We had tickets that allowed for attendance at the soundcheck too.  He was great in his own right, stuck around after soundcheck for conversation, autographs, and photos for more than a few minutes.  Both he and the band were fantastic and did justice to the songs. Have fun!.

What a dilly of a show.

Montana>Zobie Wof

worth the $30 right there.

Who are the brain police a close second.

Guy puts on a hell of a show. I've seen him twice. Once at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park & at the Beacon Theater in NYC when he opened for Return To Forever. What a pairing.

Edit...Didn't realize it was last night. Hope it was a good time Tim.

I saw Frank Zappa once, on Halloween at the Palladium in NYC, 10/31/80. The same night the Dead were at Radio City.

Frank said he wasn't feeling well and would play a shorter show then usual. He ripped and played more notes then my liquefied head had ever heard.

45 minutes set and we were blown away. Like Miles Davis, Frank made his musical statement and that was all we needed.

Here is the audio sound board recording of the show:
