Dystopian Dreams

Might be time to turn off the news feed.  
 

Dystopian landscapes are becoming a regular feature in my dreams.  Perhaps even more unsettling is that they're not nightmares, but just feel like the new normal.  
 

Of course I can't just turn off daily living, which has gotten increasingly sketchy in my urban environment.  
 

Is this what the heart of gold band was working through when they left the Haight for the more bucolic settings of Marin County?  What Neil Young is singing about in On The Beach?
