chemdog has had an instagram account for awhile. im sure most of you have heard the story of the bagseed found in dank weed on dead tour that became chemdog. its been elucidated a bit more now, the bud was coming from humbolt and these kids called it "dog bud" because it made you roll over like a dog. they kept the dog bud to themselves until decided to sell ounces for $500 on dead tour. chemdog bought an ounce, found the bagseed, and the rest is history. even the guy who sold him the weed has a public ig account now, @pbud_mike
many folks close to the diesel circles in NYC have come forward and confirmed that it is just a variant of chemdog.
Then there is the other "Diesel" from Amsterdam SOMA (he wrote a book) which is 'Big Skunk Korean' or somesuch.
Basically the story goes,: the place in Eugene did not have a large enough electric panel, so when they ran the laundry machine, breakers would trip confusing the light cycle. (Actually my belief is that they put too many loads on the circuits, lucky there wasn't a fire).
So the Big Bud, Skunk and Korean plants went Hermaphrodite and made the seeds which became SOMA diesel.
That's the story in his book and/or what he told me.

Sour D just doesn’t have that super deep, rich, exotic, incense, fuely funk that proper OG has. I also think
OG is more balanced in the head, psychedelic but also comes with a beautiful and soothing body high
