Easy Wind? (Tornado Content)

That pic looks like Fulton. On the north edge of the park.

83 MPH at the airport. That is some serious wind.

Serious wind, serious rain, seriously high tide this morning....

Hard Rain almost all night long.

Power went out, my neighbor next to the creek had 4 inches of water in her place....Brutal.

might be right Mark, good eye.

Out for a walk soon to see the damage. The sea is tumultuous right now, got neighbors roof shingles in the yard.

How those DNB peeps faring in Arcata?

Apparently, a tornado touched down this afternoon in Scotts Valley, near Santa Cruz. Cars were flipped and tossed around, traffic lights ripped up and sent flying, some folks with minor injuries.

Zoners Googly & Dynamohum, who live in that town, report that they are fine.

We're living in "interesting" times.

Dyanmohum did post a couple of "commercial" videos on Facebook.

Here's one, can't link the other.

It's all so real!

First an unprecedented tsunami warning for San Francisco and now a tornado alert?

Just a song for Gomorrah, I wonder what they did there?

The island of Mayotte in the Indian Ocean, northwest of Madagascar, just got hit by a cyclone with 140 mph winds that's left most of the island's 300,000 residents homeless, in their worst weather event in 90 years.

Consider yourselves lucky, S.F.

After tracing the path and seeing the footage of the aftermath it looks like it touched down on the old 9 hole Valley Garden golf course(which is permanently closed.)

It was a par 32 and on one fateful day in 92 I shot my best round of golf ever, 36!

disclaimer: played less then 30 rounds of golf to date.

Yeah, Mayotte got hit hard.   Apparently, there are 100,000 undocumented migrants from mainland Africa living there under the radar in makeshift housing up in the hills.  They got it bad and many of the survivors are afraid to ask for help lest they get deported.
