Been watching the Pac-12 tourney the past couple nights with Walton on the call. Last night, in the first couple minutes, he wished Happy Birthday to Phil, quoted Touch of Grey, and said "Jerry didn't sing Bama Getaway!" when his partner kept referring to Las Vegas as "Vegas." There's always some good shit going on between those two. Walton drives him crazy.
And tonight, coming out of a commercial, the guy in the ESPN studio threw in a Truckin, Ripple, Touch of Grey and American Beauty reference in one sentence before sending it back to Walton and Pasch in Vegas. Almost looked like LaPhonso Ellis understood it too, which made it even more bizarre.
Pretty funny.

Even if well-versed in the GD it's hard to follow his rantings; I can only imagine what a loon he sounds like without understanding his constant references.
