I understand your outrage. I went to the Utah legislature today at 8 AM and got shut out of testifying about a program I've been publicizing for almost a year trying to get more help to low-income seniors and folks on fixed incomes. These mormon mo-fos who run our state. So infuriating. They don't want to help poor folks while they talk about giving a $160 income tax cut that won't affect these seniors. Last year they gave a $480 million income tax cut. Now they're crying poverty. Grrrrr.  

On the sperm thing, gotta wonder if they'll be passing out collection cups in the porno movie houses. No pee cups, Pee Wee cups!  Geez, all that death and destruction taking place!

All joking aside it's awesome what you are working to accomplish in Utah. I wish I still had it in me. I remember going on a three day - 34 mile march -  to try and stop Carters draft registration that he put in place after Russia invaded Afghanistan, and being the only person of draft age on the march. So nothing new that young people don't give a shit. A woman on the march said that her husband wouldn't come because he just couldn't do it again, and me thinking how lame that was. Now I'm that guy, but the difference is there is no march to not bother showing up to. Women are being arrested for having a miscarriage, and not a peep - nothing but some posts on social.

“I was all for it,” the Republican senator said cheerfully. “You know, you just gotta look at everything going on in the country. It’s just an attack on families, an attack on kids. You know, anything we can do for the future of our young people because they’re our No. 1 commodity.”

HuffPost asked what he would say to women in Alabama who will no longer have access to IVF treatments as a result of this ruling. Tuberville said it was “unfortunate” and “hard.”

“Really hard. Because again, you want people to have that opportunity,” he said. “We need more kids. I’d have to look at the entire bill, how it’s written. I have not seen it.”

Except there is no bill. This was an Alabama Supreme Court decision, not a bill passed by the state legislature.
