I finally "cracked" and have watched most of Gunsmoke season 12 for the first time after only watching seasons 1-7 a million times.
I tried several years ago, but just couldn't get used to Festus ... who seemed to be mostly a "clone" of Chester with a few original bits / quirks here and there.
Just not a fan at all of Festus, and as someone who could care less about Jerry clones, I now have a better understanding.
