First shoe since Phil

Forums:

It got to the point where Phil shoes were the only thing to get me to a concert. Generally 3 - 5 hours round trip to venues and hotel nights.

Heading to JRAD on the NYC Rooftop venue tomorrow. Kind of a mental and emotional purge > jam > celebration if I can pull it off.

Back in the swing with YES, Otiel & Friends, Pat Methaney and Trey at the Beacon not long after.

Good to be back in the saddle

JRAD is the band to do this with. They will make you think of the past, and the future, of this music.

GTTS!

You're seeing some good shoes(lol, shoes), Nod. Have some blasts.

Happy trails, Nod, sounds like good times.

Glad and Grateful for the support from the Zone fam.

Thank you...  really.      I need this.

Counting on crescendos and elevations to sooth my soul and lead me / dance me to return to concert joy and that familiar cellular smile in my very molecules and essence !

Just what the doctor would have ordered!

You have made the right choice. Joe is a great torch bearer of the soundtrack of our lives.

Thinking of going tonight.
Anyone have access to 2 tickets

for a reasonable price?

I'll admit it. I lazed out in my lazy summer home & did NOT GTTS.
Looking forward to hearing about what I missed out on.

Just 4 the fun of it, gonna post some pics from PhilRad.

i would have loved to have caught that show. i did get to see a similar lineup at txr at one point, minus marco and plus jason crosby. i think the txr show was either the genesis of the philrad run or the txr show was a hype generator for the philrad shows. that show absolutely blew my nuts off from start to finish. phil linked in with that band was incredible. every other musician ive ever seen play with them kinda slows the band down a bit and requires them to pull back on the complexity a bit, except for phil. phil seemed right at home and was totally unrelenting. im sure the actual philrad shows were even better considering the lineup is much closer to the full jrad unit with marco instead of crosby.

NOD, great choice to get back into the swing of shows. A guy i work with went to college with metzger.  Hes still in touch, so i kinda have an inside source to upcoming shows.  You should look into the allman/betts revival at the beacon in dec.  the line up is impressive, with randolph and others. Jorma is also playing at carnegie hall in nov, for his 85th bday show, featuring many guest artists.
