Seeing GBB tomorrow night at the Get Down but will be in Kyoto next weekend and will miss the Mt. Hood show. Have fun!

GBB was fun last night. A
GBB was fun last night. A Los Angeles Pigpen tribute band called Alligators opened. Frontman was sort of the David Lee Roth of fake Pigpens. Totally hamed it up. Band was good but didn't go beyond Pigpen songs. No Viola, That's it for the Other One, etc but some of the jams were modern jamband style ala Goose or Spafford
Have seen GBB more times than I remember but it has been a while and was surprised by how "big" they sounded. Big lights and really loud and punchy. But they totally flubbed a whole verse in Sugar Magnolia and some of their Bob songs like Black Throated Wind and Saint of Circumstance could have been tighter. Place was sold out and everyone was having a good time.
