Definitely a good time!

An annual tradition for sure.

Never seen Dead AF, but saw Garcia Birthday Band last weekend doing a double feature with Portland's Phish tribute, Shafty, at the Aladdin Theater.  Both bands were in high gear and firing on all cylinders.

We are going to be up at the Edgefield all weekend for Trombone Shorty, Ziggy Marley, Mavis Staples, and Robert Randolph on Friday and SCI on Saturday.   Got a room and might as well stick around on Sunday for at least some portion of the Jerry party.

Hey Ken.  Getting a room seems like the best solution for their parking chaos. Yeesh. We're going to MMJ on Aug 15th and I'm thinking about leaving at dawn to get parking.

Thanks for the heads up on the music.  I'm opting for Jorma at the Aladdin Sunday night. It's been quite a long time since I've seen him solo and really looking forward to it.

We are going to MMJ at the Edgefield too (and Peter Frampton).   Getting out of the main parking lot can be a real pain, but if you get there early enough, you might be able to get a spot in the regular visitor lot.  And you can legitimately do that by saying you are going to one of the restaurants and actually do.   Looking forward to checking on the status of the entry lines while in a bathrobe on the balcony overlooking the front gate.  We get a pool pass too!

Have fun at Jorma.

I'm going with friends to GBB... should arrive around 4ish.... Ken I already  know you can't make it  due to your heavy show calendar... any other Oregon Zoners going?  I'm taking Monday off!   Was hoping to be in NOCal this week for a bunch of  shows but cancelled that... hoping to see Kimock in Eugene next week and take off a couple more days.

We stuck around until about 3:00 and caught the first half of Dead AF,  which bills itself as "the Rogue Valley's only Dead cover band.  You're stuck with us."

They were actually pretty good. Hard hitting four piece not afraid to play GD music like they want to.  But after two nights at the Edgefield (and fifth straight day of live music) time to get the dog, let the cat out, and chill out on the patio for the evening.

Enjoy GBB to tonight.  They moved the show from in front of the Little Red Shed down to the mainstage.

Hanging in shade, good start.

They are breaking out with China>Rider, the earlier stuff was warmups

A good little Oregon show can't be beat! ;)
