Here is a new topic. A sad one, but true. Texas has jumped the shark again. Some assholes in Texas are pushing for
a new law that forces all places that perform abortions, no matter how far along the pregnancy is to send the fetus to a
funeral home, and the unborn fetus be buried, or cremated. WTF. The whole thing is crazy, and the biggest question is
who would pay for it? The assholes are even pushing for funeral homes to be forced to pay for it. Thus, the funeral
homes are taking it to the Texas supreme court. The cost would be a minimum of 550.00 per fetus. This is fucked up.

Trolls are pretty obvious, and the most wonderful way to deal with trolls is to use your brain and ignore them willfully...it drives them nuts to find out that you do not care about them..

They'll get the same guaranteed amount no matter when the tix go on sale. It's the promoter who puts them out there that far in advance.
It's the promoter who's guaranteed millions up front to the band for playing shows. They're the promoter's shows and the promoter's tickets to sell, so it's the promoter who gets that interest, which only seems fair. After all, we are not communists. It's annoying in some ways, but there are some advantages to doing it that way as well.
Trolls, internet nincompoops, Apple Computers, Dead & Co, promoters; you seem to have a lot of hate & anger in you Mark.

And I think the next scheduled DNB show has them opening for Melvin's band at the Warfield in late February, I imagine with or without David.

On a positive note, learned a great deal at the panels and speakers last weekend. I have a few issues with them(The Emerald Cup) too, but their informative panels are awesome. The latest in genetics, dna testing, terpene mgt( everybody that grows should check this video out when they post it.)
New testing regulations. Over 80 % tested positive for pesticides. One that is generally stated as ok, but converts to poison when heated(smoked). Also most are failing the microbe test. Some tests though only measure overall bacteria and don't differentiate between good and bad. New testing protocols will call for breaking down to which microbes are present. It's a new day. Makes me wonder what all I have been smoking for 53 yrs. Still less harmful than tobacco.......
Regenerative farming(I did not attend this one as it was at the same time as one more important to me. But I heard people raving about how good it was.)

And still plenty of time to hit the 215 area after they are over. Pretty good festival really, once you get in...........

We'll see. My OR MMJ card comes up for renewal next month. Was orig. gonna forego the expense - we grew more than we needed the last two years, and one card would be enough. However, I decided that rec. may be under attack more so than med. when the new regime takes power.. We're on record anyway - they already know where we live - so I'm gonna go ahead and renew.
