I really like this band. I first saw them at the Borderland festival near Buffalo last year. The second time was last night at a great little outdoor venue near Canandaigua, NY. The crazy thing is that there were no more than about 100 people, we basically had the place to ourselves. It felt like a private show and these guys can really jam. The played an hour first set then short break then around 90 min second set, I think all or mostly original tunes.

Seen them four times now and
Seen them four times now and they do know how to jam. Seems like they are getting better with age. Glad you had a good and uncrowded show.

Is that your empty chair ?
Is that your empty chair ? Tell me it was and tell me you were up dancing please. Do people really just plop down and stare at a band like that ? Spooky. It looks like a museum exhibit.

Here is a different view, yes many plop down to watch the band. Plenty of room for dancing. There were so few people it felt like a small backyard party.

Every concert or music festival I go to has people of multiple ages doing a variety of things: standing, sitting, jumping, laying down. We don't tend to think of it when a gig is super packed. In various seasons of my life, I've been jumping at the rail or laying low in the background in a comfy chair.
To each their own-enjoy the music and freak freely
