Govt Mule Spring 26

Forums:

Govt Mule just announced some spring dates for April with Larkin Poe and Maggie Rose. Kinda surprised that the April 17th show about an hour out of Pittsburgh at Timber Rock Amphitheater is an outdoor show! The way this winter has been going it could still be snowing, kinda risky to book an outdoor show in April in the mountains of PA. But yes I will be getting tickets, never been to this place and it looks cool and I cant miss the Mule when they come around. I'm sure it will be an adventure!

Warren Haynes

hardest working man in rock and roll right there

and one of the most throwing downest rhythm sections in the business too

Ahh what shit. Bring it west - will ya ?

mumble , bitch, gripe.....

Good to see the Mule out, but it makes the fact that Warren is playing the Bay Area solo so much sadder.....

Why sad, Woz?

I'm going to the Grass Valley show. Can't wait. Love me some Warren solo.

I don't know that posted three times LOL. Fillmore is way too big a room for that. It's boring and for me not worth the trip into SF on a Friday night. The Mule on the other hand.....

Following up to report that this was a great show with alot of old school Mule tunes. We got lucky with the weather and it was about 70 degrees at showtime when Larkin Poe opened. I am not familiar with them but they are a great band with 2 sisters that are guitar wizards playing catchy blues oriented music with amazing guitar solos throughout. The Mule followed and went straight to business and kicked ass all night. They were very tight, Kevin Scott is an absolute beast! Matt is still out and Terence Hiigins is an extremely talented fill in on the drums. We even got Bertha towards the end of the set! Very good time, nice very laid back venue. Capacity is 2900 and about 3/4 of the seats were sold so there was plenty of room to move around. GTTS & Get Behind The Mule!!!
