Probably no big deal for you West Coasters. You get to catch Sless and Molo all the time.  Pretty cool to have them at Levons.   Anyone going or have seen the Rustlers live before?

Seeing them tonight. Will report back

I think that's their first show outside of CA.

I've enjoyed what I've heard from them and will be going to the Sacramento show next friday, looking forward to it.

They’ve also played in Alaska. And from your second post, don’t forget the great Pete Sears, Jimbo.

>>>Seeing them tonight. Will report back

nice, thank you. Looks like they do some interesting covers.  Sears is great too, I’ve only seen him with Moonalice though. Always some good potential for guests in Woodstock. Benevento?

>>>They’ve also played in Alaska.

that was california kind w CR guesting

My error. They are playing there (Girdwood) in April but haven’t before.

They don't do >.

Seems like a long way to come for a one off at Levon's.  How about a few more east coast dates!?

^I was thinking the same. The Bearsville Theatre would make sense the day before or after.  Also a great spot to see music in Woodstock.

^^^Bearsville Theater works for me!

As the CRB spring tour kicks off on 5/16, I think Tony Leone will sub for Molo (as he did in SF on St. Patrick's day at the independent) if there are a few shows added on the east coast.

Low ticket alert.

Nice recording here from SF. Thanks to the Taper

No Molo but Leone gave us a 24 hrs at a Time to open the 2nd set...

Hope you had a great show Turts!

MTB

We got ours.....:)

Show was killer.

Got a Henry 1st set.

This band has legs. Should be a thing for awhile I hope.

Gdad, shabaz, zooey, spackler were all there.

Thanks for the show report, Turtle. Glad you got a good one.

happy to hear. Did the jams get out there?  Cool to see they cover a variety of stuff from New Riders to Waylon.

show sat in LA was even better.

yes they get out there...not nelson out there...but yeah.

quite a few repeats but the whole band was cooking.

>>Did the jams get out there?

Saw them Friday. Could count on one hand the jams that got out there and then they were brief. I would consider this band much more straight ahead and song focused, as opposed to jam focused. ymmv

Thanks for the reviews.

CR putting a good band together. I’m interested.

...also happy for Greg. Interesting group.

Oh, I wish! ...except it's closed down at the moment. Just changed hands, or it's about to change hands.... I'm hoping it will reopen soon.

See you at Levon's. Well, actually it's Sandy's place now. See you at Sandy's!

Looking forward to the potluck! Fun to take part in and see what others bring to the table. Very unique experience. This lineup for $60 there is a steal.

Probably like a 7.

Cass McCombs just rocked the same venue harder last night and he writes all his own songs. At least an 8.
