Greensky Bluegrass with Billy Strings at the Ryman

If you have nugs.net, do yourself a favor and watch the Greensky Bluegrass show from Saturday night at the Ryman.  I have seen Greensky a bunch of times at festivals and never really paid them much mind, but they have certainly gotten better in recent years and now are very similar to what Billy Strings sounds like (but not quite as heavy metal).   So its not surprising Billy sat in for most of the second set.  He didn't try to steal the show and his guitar playing wasn't so Van Halen like, but instead he added tasteful guitar solos here and there and concentrated on, as good musicians do, making the band sound good.   Anyway, check out the show.  I was surprised how good they sound these days.
