How are you handling trick or treating this year? We are having bags of candy in plastic bags with flashing rings that we are going to pin to the front fence so kids can grab them as the go by.

Not handing out candy this year. Had a giant bowl of candy taken last year, bowl and all. My kids are over canvassing the neighborhood for candy.

We had a pretty good turn out
We had a pretty good turn out of trick or treaters last night. More than in past years. We filled treat bags with candy and small containers of play-do, put a flashing ring in them, and set them up on the front rockery where the kids could get them. We also had a tray of shots of Scotch for the grownups and the smoke machine going.
I originally had the song "Black Sabbath" by Black Sabbath blasting on the speaker, but my SO thought it would scare the children so we switched to a much milder Spotify Halloween party playlist with shit like Thriller and the Monster Mash.
We actually ran out of the bags later in the evening, which was sad. Never had that happen before and feel ashamed.

night! I was surprised to still see the deer standing calmly in the left lane.
