Happy 42nd Anniversary Lafayette College, Easton PA, 5/7/79

Time, it just marches on.  The epitome of a college gym, Brent's 5th show, great spring day. John Chippolina out of nowhere to add some juice--and home town of Larry Holmes. Then, pack-up the gear, head down PA I-78 W, US-322 W for the 2.5 hour ride to Penn State the next day on 5/8/79

Penn State was the only time I saw the boys when the bleachers were pulled out from the wall.  This was after JGB ended their fall tour at Rec Hall in 1977, and another real good show at the gym on 5/6/80.

'79 Spring was a short tour, only 9 shows, no 2 night stops, no big Northeast cities.

Billerica, MA capacity was only 3,500.  From Jerrygarcia.com....In a Hockey Rink. I sat in the penalty box and enjoyed the vibe. Lots of breaks and tuning. Their equipment looked like it had come out of the back of several garages

My better half went to Billerica with a bunch of her buddies from the Boston U. football team. They had fun.
