Happy 72nd Bruce Springsteen and he's giving us a present

Forums:

72 years old today. The present that was announced today is the Nov complete release of him and The E Street Bands performances at the No Nukes shows. Anyone that was there, including the other performers, all state that those shows changed their lives. Luckily for those who weren't there all the original film has been full HD restored and the music got a full restoration and remix as well. There's a trailer on YouTube but I have it from people, including some who aren't even close to a fan, that this might be the ultimate live concert film ever. It's shot in documentary style so none of those MTV 5 second cuts anywhere to be found.

What appears of theirs on the three record set is pretty amazing, and very exciting as is.

No Nukes is a fantastic collection of music and performances.

I was hoping for a Nebraska tour.   oh well.   ;)

To be fair, he did tour Nebraska solo after it's release. What I want to hear, and is in the vault, is the Electric Nebraska album that he recorded with The E Street Band. Still another solo tour wouldn't be too shabby.

I wuz there .... good shows (besides the fact that MSG was said to have been powered by a nuke plant)

We had electric James Taylor w/ Waddy Wachtel and several 3 & 4 part versions of Times They are a Changin over the 5 nights

E Street Band was the only band booked for 2 nights (Fri & Sat)
