We went down to our neighborhood Mardi Gras parade last night. Keeps getting bigger every year and it took close to an hour for the full parade to pass by. Lots of brass bands, crazy outfits, glowy stuff, colorful characters, and people having a good ole time.

All those Grateful Dead shows
As a California boy, when I think of Mardi Gras I think of all those Grateful Dead shows over the years.
Even when the band wasn't at their best those shows were always so much fun.
Some of my best GD memories are from those shows.
