Robert Plant is playing the
Robert Plant is playing the Orpheum Theater in S.F. on Friday Oct. 2nd and he's in Sacramento on the 5th, so I think he's pretty much a lock for the festival on the 3rd or 4th.
As for My Morning Jacket, normally I would whine about MMJ being there, since most large multi-act festivals take away a full headlining show on a bands tour, but that weekend is the beginning of their extended run of shows at the Fillmore, shows I was shut out of, so the HSBG festivus is a chance for the rest of us to catch them.
For me personally, the huge crowds and hassles of the fest are a bit much for me in my current incarnation, and I've never found the daytime shorter set festival type event to be that band's wheelhouse, so I'll likely give the rest of you some extra room by skipping it, but it's cool that they'll be there and I'm sure their set will be a good, if jam packed scene.
