Has anyone seen Hamilton in NYC???

Forums:

I would love to see the play, Hamilton. A client of mine, flew to NYC to see it and said it's amazing. I listened to a bit if it while I was working with him.

Tickets for a SF run went on sale and it was a frenzy... I may try a little later if more are released that I can afford. The news said they will also offer very cheap tickets at random giveaways in the future, so that people without a ton if dough can go.

Anyone seen it?

Why did my font size shrink back down mid paragraph?

My daughter saw it, loved it.

My computer switches its screen resolution randomly multiple times a day.

You can buy tickets for Hamilton at the Pantages in Hollywood only by buying season tickets for all seven shows next year.

Pantages

I have 3 friends who saw it about a month ago & thought it was fantastic. One of them went reluctantly because she doesn't like plays, but was extremely impressed with the entire show.

How's that Trumpkin boycott working out?

Going to get tickets for my wife's bday.  Here the Chicago cast is solid so may send her there instead of new york (plus tickets are far cheaper).

One our friends went to the infamous Pence showing.     Good times.

The PBS documentary on it was really good.  My boys were very into it.

Tickets for a SF run went on sale <<<<

Do they also call them "runs"?

Ro, if you want to come see it in NYC we could probably make it work to go with you.

Is the New York version different?

Zang- I read about the cast addressing Pence after the election, thanks for heads up, didn't know about PBS Documentary. Will look for it.

Chicago cheaper?

ChinaRider- would love to go to NYC

but not in winter!

wanted to ask you ... Are we all going to Jazzfest and Dicks again?

i already booked rooms in NOLA for both weeks... Will decide what's up soon...

Happy Holidays!!

There may be another Jazzfest, dicks, Cap, or TXR in the future...too early to tell.  I've been known to procrastinate wink

I hear it's highly overrated. Oh, wait. I've only heard one orange tinted person say that.

PBS doc is fantastic.  Highly recommend it.   Somehow it comes across that they were filming it before they made it big which is incredible foresight.

My wife and I saw it in NY this summer and were blown away. A great work of American art.  See it whenever you can. Truly amazing and inspiring.

I saw the Drunk History version.

Going to see it in April. Happened to be in NYC for something else a few months ago and walked up to box office and they had one of those little side opera boxes avaialble. Can't wait. My daughter turned me onto it and is just brilliant. Reading Chernow's book now and am blown away by Hamilton's brilliance. Took a walking tour with a Hamilton historian in November that was excellent and then took the kids down to visit his grave at Trinity Church. Fascinating stuff...

if you want SF check now

Wish I could go to CAP run and then go to Hamilton! Tickets are impossible to find.

The pbs special is awesome you can find it on YouTube if you search Hamilton America pbs

Caught it off Broadway in its first month.

The in-laws are way tuned into that scene and were on it early.

Didn't fall asleep like I did during Book of Mormon.

Hamilton! Is it possible to write the name of this play without exclamation points? Hamilton!! Amazing and inspiring!!! Forgot to use the word AWESOME. AWESOME!!!! Hamilton. !

plenty of dates with seats available in SF. Just need to break out the Grants & Franklins...
