Been digging this singer/songwriter. Mostly instrumental.
From Flow State,"American guitarist and producer from Amarillo, Texas. He was raised there by his truck-stop preacher father, who homeschooled him. Pedigo plays 6- and 12-string guitar and put out his first John Fahey-inspired fingerstyle record as a teenager.¹ His latest LP, The Happiest Times I Ever Ignored, is an instrumental collection whose title comes from the diary of National Lampoon co-creator Doug Kenney.
It’s wistful acoustic guitar accompanied by synths, pedal steel, and piano. We’re also playing two prior LPs, which play a similar style: Letting Go from 2021 and Greetings from Amarillo from 2017.

I am surprised to see Hayden Pedigo on this board. Letting Go was one of my favorites of 2021 and a mainstay throughout last year.

"Well here it is! I’ve never been so nervous but it was one of the coolest things ever. Huge huge thanks to Bob Boilen and Lars Gotrich who produced this. Lars has written about my music since my first tape – when I was a teenager! The entire NPR staff was amazing. I still can’t believe it! I played “Elsewhere” and “The Happiest Times I Ever Ignored” plus “Carthage” from Letting Go. OK, here it is…"
