headphones

Forums:

Looking to get some headphones for travel.   I don't need them to be uber fancy but I would like a decent set that's midrange in cost.     Any thoughts?

Mine are eight years old, still sound fine the only problem is the ear foam part is wearing out. I wear them when yard working and I'm a sweaty fucker, so that probably added to the deterioration, anyway I travel with them by train or clown car and they're great for tuning out crowd noise even when not playing music. I will be getting a new set in the coming weeks.  $125.00

^^^ I agree...

Solid mid-range headphones... 4 years and still kicking

I highly recommend Skullcandy Uproar Wireless Bluetooth Headphones. They sound remarkable and at an unbelievable price of $25-$40. I have 2 pairs and have recommended them to many friends who all love them. You can Google reviews for them and you will see.

get a a decent pair of noise-canceling headphones

I have a couple pairs: Audio-Technica ATH-ANC7B ($100), & Sony MDR10RNCIP ($250)

almost essential for me when flying, esp. when I'm trying to sleep, and/or w/ crying babies, and any extraneous noise you want blocked out while listening to music

both of the above models have good frequency response, esp. the Sony's

if I want to nap when flying, I'll turn on the noise-canceling feature without any music playing... makes a world of difference

foam earplugs + noise-canceling headphones = near-total silence smiley

picked up discontinued Skull Candy smokin ear buds  2 pair for 10 bucks ! since i plow through ear buds it is a great deal ! Shop and Seek around !
