We survived four days in the heat for DesertTrip as well as three days for Lockn' 2015. Thanks for the warning, though.

For our first time there 2 yrs ago, we thought we arrived early enough, but did not: Our tent camping site was in a gravel parking lot along the main road. Not Fun.
There is some field you can pay to park in the night before...I think that info was on the website.

The sad part about camping,
The sad part about camping, Lots of the people go in and save huge spots so all their friends can come in later and fill in the spots. Some even rope spots off and defend them with their life. Same people in the same spots year after year. Been there done that. I just listen to the festival on the radio these days.
