Some folks tipping their collective hat to Jerry last night.

Let there be songs to fill the air.

Contemplating everything.

I'm reminiscing about the Garcia Birthday Show at Oklahoma City Zoo Amphitheater,  1982.

Might have been the only actual Jerry B-day  I attended.

Show was so-so,  but the SCENE was tremendous.  Maybe 101 degrees F. and all them Okies wink

Conical Party Hats were passed out and crowd sung "Happy Birthday Song"  before set II.

Ambitious TourHeads looted the unlocked Box-Office hut the night before,  and stole hundreds of Tickets.

I LOVE YOU.  ....  I have been wondering and kind of have been trying to find this show for a long time - for some reason I thought it was winning it was the carousel ballroom

i have the chills and I'm kind of crying at the same time

Saint Stephen the 11 tell Lovelight.  jfc.  I was at the show and remember vividly this segment and clearly visualize the ending of  LOVELIGHT 1 being beyond transcendent     with a mass shared hallucination of joy and energy as everyone in the rooms has their head explode and become one mass of flashes of light and pure energy

I have never experienced anything else like that in my life.  My friend Steve Crall passed out but remained standing being held up by the crushing mass of humanity     I was already on the bus, but at this  show I became on the rocket ship so to speak

Long live the dead indeed

my days between are very full right now, thank you again

I was inspired using a router for the very first time and ended up being oddly possessed and completing this bench the day before Jerry died

The “days between” association is off-putting, slightly embarrassing and should be abolished.

Hence, my "corpse-humping" remark... it's a crazy double-edged sword, though. Seeing one of our local "tribute" bands tonight. Hey- way better than nothin'.  ;-)

XM Radio is doing such a great job with song selection during this period.

The first time i heard the term corpse humping, i didn't get it. When i did i laugh. Now it makes me so sad.

Did my part and caught both of Tampa Bays GD cover bands this weekend, including these guys this afternoon who've been together now a long time (no keyboard this night for whatever reason):

The songs are just so effen good.  ;-)

Played a couple of shows with TC, Sikiru and Terrapin Flyer this past weekend in Illinois.

Was most high

Couple of years ago I had a helper that worked for about 2 months or so. He was alright. He liked heavy medal and rap.

I listen to Sirius/XM radio at work all day.

He quit on Aug. 11th.

Said our goodbys and everything seemed cool and as he was walking out he shouted.....By the way Jerry week sucks.

>>>>>He liked heavy medal

I dunno, that Nobel can really put a strain on your neck.
