I Can't Believe People Still Buy These

Forums:

Person A bought a Tesla S60. At some point the battery needs to be replaced which Tesla replaces with a 90 pack battery that gets 80 more miles of range. Person A sells the car to person B who sells the car to person C.

Person C brings the car in for routine maintenance. Everything is fine and he drives his car home. A few days latter Tesla calls him and says they a found a configuration problem with his car but not to worry they fixed the problem remotely. What Tesla did is software lock his car back to a S60 which means he get 80 miles less range now. When he complains they say they can put it back for $4,500.

In other news BMW is charging $178 a year for heated seats and if you don't pay they turn them off.

Transportation Has Always Been A JOKE ! ____________ Unless You Drive a Toyota 4 Runner.

Subaru or STFU.

14K to replace battery

there's a graveyard someplace

^There is a "kill switch" that simply sets it ablaze in a nasty electrical fire.

If you have 90k to spend on one vehicle, 14k probably isn't going to cause you to switch brands.

I thought this thread was going to be about meat ;-)

My old millionaire and heavily-invested in Tesla ski buddy, Val (RIP 2020), used to say, "If you need to spend $80K on an e-car in order to save money on gas...you need to have your head examined!"

The people that buy that car don't care about such trivial shit.

People will buy the dammdest things tho won't they ?
