JGB 9/30/83

JGB 5/20/84

Lap it up dogs!

If i'm wrong, FU!

I was there and recorded them both.

Jerry Lewis?

No. Jerry Jewless! God bless him.

You taped them both but you can't figure out how to even link the shows just a webpage?

"It's a bullshit lie"

Us older folks are tourists in the digital world, not natives.  Yourcways are foreign to us.

That's kinda rude

i love and miss Jerrys playing so bad

O consider myself so lucky to have seen him play. We all are

The links you provided are all 404s.

I didn't say MY recordings were on Sugarmegs son! And yes I was there and recorded them. Believe it if you need it............

And 5/20/84 has the best Sugaree and Rhapsody in Red Jerry ever played IMO!

Do you have a SBD copy of '83 SPAC, Foolio?

Why do you have a hard on for SPAC 83 Whacker?

It's the first time I asked you, dude.

China Rider from 8/5/74 will make you a believer if there is ANY doubt. It also has the BOMB of all Bombs in there too...............Dicks picks 31 Philly, saw god at the show, outer body experience during second set. No psychedelics, just music life changing show.

I've seen you ask it before, DUDE! I do have a memory.

You remember me. Cool.

Do you know anyone with those tapes?

Nope! Sorry.

Ask Phil.

Oh and that 5/20/84 show was the last of a 4 day in a row Jerry mini tour of So. Cal. with Hunter opening. Saw 3 of the 4. Beverly Hills, Irvine and Reseda. Reseda is probably the best Jerry band show I saw.

Cool Logic. Never saw any shows in Santa Barbara. Saw every Ventura show though. Though he was in the thick of his addiction, Jerry sure did shred a lot in 84. Some of my favorite shows that year.

And the Reseda show had the waitresses and bouncers digging it.I remember a big fat black bouncer watching Jerry and grooving.

jerry joseph?

Joe, I was at that 5/17/ 84 show at the Beverly Theater too.

I can't believe he played Irvine Meadows on that tour. 15,000 seats to 2 days later playing the Country Club with room for 900. WTF!

Of course Irvine was no way near sold out. I got a good close ticket at the show from the box office.

Jazfish, here's from the Beverly show and Irvine the next night

    >links you provided are all 404'soops, not sure why that happened, but if you copy & paste the links into the url they do work. I just re searched them, they all worked & came up with the same link, but for some reason wont work unless you copy & past them. https://archive.org/details/jerry1984-08-12.fob.beyer-m160.d2t01       https://archive.org/details/jgb1975-12-31.mtx.chappell.sb33.flac16

Ha-ha...."I want a 1990 Doug Irwin Rosebud guitar,You'll melt your face off kid!"

    Nice stubs Joe.

Thanx Bluelight! Still bobbles my mind why they booked Jerry for Irvine Meadows in 84. He could barely fill a 1000 seater at that time in So. Cal. yet they book him at a place that holds 15,000

    Must have Bob Dylans manager

Yeah unusual, same year I (and others here) saw Jerry in a tiny skating rink here on Long Island on 8/16/84.

    1984 JGB is hot!

Do you like the 5/20/84 show Bluelight?

I had never heard of the show until your post.

Going to stream it from Sugarmegs in the AM.

    Thanks for the tip!
